About This Game

Tanks On The Eastern Front is an arcade tactical game. Can you win in deadly circumstances of World War 2 on the eastern front? Or will you end up as a charred corpse in burned down tank? ... while trying not to be hit or, if that fails, to be hit.

Everything a real tank can destroy with its gun or its tracks can also be destroyed in the game world – trees, buildings, cars. You start with basic German tanks but with time and resources you can get better ones (such as Konigs Tiger) to fight the deluge of Red Army tanks.

Tanks On The Eastern Front was born of the desire to make a game that utilizes tanks in isometric view allowing player to resolve tactical problems with better God-like vision of the battlefield.
As a persons intrested in ww2 games, we felt a lack of that kind of game. In addition threre are so few games about war on the Eastern Front where so fierce and large battles took place. We wanted to create a game that allows player to fight both arcade and tactical, yet with the lighter toon and low-poly style. Tanks On The Eastern Front is our attempt at achieving this goal.   I do have one question. Do SSGSS Goku and Vegeta come with this?
  They havent been activated for me since I bought this. Hyped af I swear to god if they don't add Kefla imma switch to a Hit main and hate life. If you have read some other comments then you should know. The 8 characters aren't out yet tho will be added. From that you also get and i quote "those new fighters also come with their respective stamp, set of alternative colors and Lobby Avatars." if you still don't get that part. It basically means you get those 8 characters playable AND as lobby avaters and ALTERNATIVE COLORS: Not to mention (maybe more then one) their stamp. If you are looking through through the DLC's without having the game and thinking "What is a stamp used for?" well their used for in game chat as PICTURES that you can have fun with. You can also set a presetted message from the game to a stamp for your choosing. If you ask me this is highly worth it for the main reason its 8 new characters, 8 new lobby avaters for free, alt colors plus some stamps. Also the other DLC's is worth it if you ask me tho thats my opinion.

The Mixed Reality feature is working and looks perfect in this game, as you freely move around in your roomscale area, shoot robots, hide behind objects and defend yourself in constant action. I really think Robot Incursion deserves more attention!

Robot Incursion is a single player game (so far) and you play as a soldier defending your base, your teammates and of course yourself agains evil robots, space ships and creatures in a beautiful future-inspired environment. Being an early access title, Robot Incursion already contains plenty of different areas to play within, all of them with unique atmosphere, weather conditions, varied enemies and som impressive and detailed graphics and physics.

The control system in Robot Incursion is really awesome, as you manually pick up, reload and hold the weapons with the Vive motion controllers and that really gives you total feeling of presence in VR. Standing and controlling the big turret weapon, or fireing off the Assault Rifle is something you just have to try out!

Robit Incursion includes a simple training tutorial that lets let you practice your weapon handling before you move out and start playing this VR experience. AI and level of difficulty is quite high, and it really is a challenge to make it more than a few minutes on each wave\/map\/level. Well, I like this game and I hope more content, weapons and maps will be added soon.

I will update my review when more time is spent on the game, and when more content is added. For now, Im recommending this game for all of you that likes wave-shooter FPS games, just give it a try - it IS nice! :)

Update:
A grip mode option has been added to the menu, to support the Valve Index controllers. You can now choose between 'toggle grip' for using the HTC Vive wands and 'hold grip' for using the Valve Index controllers.. New Update!:
Enemies and levels have been improved. Performance optimizations have also been implemented.

New build with poltergeists:
The new build has poltergeists in a few locations, although more adjustments will be needed. The help section doesn't currently include a section on poltergeists, which will also be added later.. New location nearing completion:
Another "dark" location, Spudge's Water Park, is finally nearing completion despite some technical difficulties that kept it long delayed. Here's part of the concessions court:

. The EU's Article 13:
Since the EU has now passed Article 13, placing restrictions on gameplay videos unless the developer has explicitly given permission, I hereby grant permission to make gameplay videos of this game for Youtube, Twitch, or any other venue. In fact, please do.. New build with important fixes:
- Fixed a severe bug that sometimes prevented any entities from spawning after a certain point.

- Fixed glitch that seemed to use old rank point levels rather than the new, lower ones. So when you play the game again, you may find yourself suddenly promoted (meaning you should have been promoted before).

- Mining tunnel surfaces are now procedural, with mathematically-generated rock veins that look like they extend through the material in three dimensions. Some of the wooden board surfaces are now partly randomized, although others still need to be updated.

- Shadow LOD now has smooth transitions rather than instantly popping in.

- The "Anomaly Radar" (available at upper ranks) had previously displayed electrical appliances as anomalies (since they emit electromagnetic radiation), which has now been fixed. So that refrigerator no longer shows up as a ghost.

- Some other fixes and additions, including a wondrous bit of apparel at the final rank.

. New build:
-- New and (hopefully) improved intro when starting a new game.
-- Hand-held devices no longer display a shadow (which some people interpreted as the player's shadow).

A known bug was discovered but not fixed yet: If the player becomes even slightly faint and then quits the investigation, the "you lost consciousness" screen comes up even though the player didn't lose consciousness. No harm is done by this (you still get full credit for evidence, etc), but it may be confusing. A likely cause is known and so hopefully this will be fixed by the next build.

  Another example of ruined fun game by "lets make it difficult, so it will take longer to beat"
  The way they did it:
  - slow controlls, so you cant reach every rocket
  - low damage, even if fully upgraded, so you cant kill every rocket you can reach
  - random drops means: sometimes 3-4 bombs in the face, so you die instantly, sometimes no buffs for a long time, so you die slowly
  It was fun as long as i tought the (otherwise limited) upgrades will help to push forward, and it dose, a little, but practice wont help if you just got smashed at the start with bombs 5 times in a row...
  
  conclusion: with little balance, it could be a fun little game but in this state it feels like a weekend project with earning some money with as little effort as possible as a main goal.
